About these terms
These Guest Terms of Service govern your use of Kbnbs (kbnbs.com) as someone looking for a place to stay. They apply alongside our general Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, and by creating a guest account or contacting a host through Kbnbs you agree to them. Kbnbs is operated by Kbnbs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales; you can reach us at hello@kbnbs.com.
What Kbnbs does for guests
Kbnbs is a directory of kosher-friendly short-term rentals across the United Kingdom, Israel and the United States. Browsing is always free. Kbnbs is an advertising and introduction platform only. We are not a party to, agent for, or broker of any rental arrangement. Any booking you make is a private arrangement solely between you and the host. We introduce you to hosts; everything about a stay, including dates, price, payment, keys, house rules and cancellation, is agreed directly between you and the host. We do not take a commission, hold deposits, or process payment for any stay.
Your guest account
A guest account is free and is created with your email address. Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a one-time six-digit code, so there is no password to remember or leak. You must give accurate details, keep access to your email secure, and you are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; deletion permanently removes your saved stays and your history of revealed contacts.
Enquiries and revealing host contact details
Listings show only an approximate area and no contact details until you choose to reveal them. Revealing a host’s details requires a free account with a verified email, and reveals are rate-limited to protect hosts from bulk harvesting. When you reveal a host’s details we send them to you and keep a record on your account so you can find them again. Those details are provided for your own genuine enquiry about that specific stay only. You must not store them in bulk, republish, sell or share them, add hosts to marketing lists, or use them to contact hosts about anything other than a potential stay.
Saved stays
You can save listings you like to your account so they are easy to return to. Saving a listing is private to you, does not notify or place any obligation on the host, and does not reserve the property. A saved listing may be changed or removed by its host, or come off the site, at any time.
Your stay is between you and the host
Kbnbs is an advertising and introduction platform only. We are not a party to, agent for, or broker of any rental arrangement. Any booking you make is a private arrangement solely between you and the host. Kbnbs’s role ends at the introduction. We do not verify, certify or guarantee the kosher status, religious suitability, condition, safety or availability of any property. Kitchen and kashrut arrangements, amenities and house rules are declared by each host. Please confirm anything that matters to you, especially kashrut arrangements, directly with the host before you commit, pay any money or travel. Any payment you make for a stay is at your own risk and is outside Kbnbs.
Referrals
From time to time we may run referral schemes. Any referral credit has no cash value, applies to Kbnbs only, is subject to the conditions of the scheme, and may be withheld where we reasonably believe a referral is artificial or abusive. Host referral rewards are described in the Host Terms of Service; as a guest you are never charged for anything on Kbnbs.
Acceptable use
You must not: scrape, crawl or bulk-download any part of the site; harvest or resell host contact details; create accounts using details that are not yours; attempt to bypass reveal limits or our security; harass, defraud or abuse hosts or our team; post or send content you do not have the right to; or use Kbnbs for anything unlawful. Breaking these rules may lead to immediate suspension or removal of your account.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close a guest account, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe it is being used for scraping, harassment, fraud, or other behaviour that harms hosts, guests or the platform, or where we are required to by law. Where it is practical to do so we will tell you why and, if the issue can be resolved, how. You may close your own account at any time.
Privacy and your data
We collect only what we need to run the service: your email address, your saved stays, and a record of the contact reveals you make. We use a privacy-first analytics tool behind cookie consent and we never sell your personal data. Host contact details you reveal are shared with you under the enquiry rules above. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice, and — only if you consent — privacy-preserving analytics cookies that build no personal profile. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer. Our Cookie Policy explains each cookie in detail.
Liability
We provide the platform with reasonable skill and care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law Kbnbs Ltd is not responsible for a stay, a host’s conduct or declarations, the accuracy of any listing, or any dealing between you and a host. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services we rely on. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Guest Terms as the platform develops; material changes will be flagged on the site, and continued use after they take effect counts as acceptance. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, wherever you use Kbnbs from.
